5 ages to battle

Your starting destination is the Stone Age, with shabby caves, primitive clubs, and fierce dinosaurs. Then you evolve into the Castle Age – all shiny spears, and nimble arrows, and flying banners. Noble knights, fair ladies, breathtaking castle sieges – it’s all there. Wars get much more sophisticated or at least spectacular in this era. Plus, who wouldn’t want a ballad written in their honor to commemorate their great feats on the battlefield?
Speaking of ballads, how about some Renaissance Age flavor? Oh, that’s a sight to behold! Musketeers and artists, soldiers and scientists – all working for victory. And they handle it quite well, with all the guns and canons thrown into the mix. Yeah, who said a great warrior can’t also be a great artist or harpist?
Finally, we get to Modern Age, and that’s where things really go grand-scale. Firearms and tanks, helicopters and missiles, bombs and spies… There is no shortage of high tech and high thrill. Just make sure you build a bomb shelter cause it can get quite messy at times!
And who can resist a peep into the Future Age? Plunge into the whirlpool of laser guns, space battles, and a few aliens trying to invade your planet. It’s everything you’ve seen in your favorite sci-fi movies and more! Quite a time trip, eh?

Bonus epochs and units

Did you really think it’s all gonna stop at just those five? Oh, no! Age of War is regularly updated to throw in something new and fun. For instance, you can travel to Ancient Egypt and send your army of Anubises to smash down your enemy. Or discover the tactical advantages of using battle elephants as a Persian king. How to play

Although the concept of Age of War might seem pretty intricate, the whole thing is simple to grasp and easy to play, really. Build a base and recruit an army

So, how do you play this time-twisting epic? It’s all about keeping your base safe and wrecking your opponent’s. To survive this crazy ride, you’ll need to build turrets, set up defenses galore, and grow your army of units. Keep an eye on those health bars above your soldiers and base! When things get really hairy, don’t forget about your special attacks. You can call in artillery strikes and make it rain rocks on your enemies. What a sight!

As you earn XP, you’ll progress through the ages, unlocking new tech and cooler weapons. With whole plethora unit types to choose from, you won’t be short of options to crush your foes. Each unit comes with its own price tag, so manage your cash wisely. Earn money and experience during the match and spend them like a boss to secure victory!

Set up your defenses wisely

All those arrangements have to be made in real-time. The enemies will spawn and come at you from the right of the screen. Your base is on the left, and the amount of gold in your treasury defines the number and strength of units you can hire. If you run out of gold in the middle of the battle, you’re most certainly doomed!

That is you should always opt for things like catapults, watch towers, and other defensive structures that will support your main units by showering your enemies with whatever they have to throw at them. Plus, stuff like that will stay out of their reach for the longest time, allowing for maximum damage.

Simple, fun and super addictive

Age of War isn’t only epic and exciting – it’s also plain and convenient as a nutshell. All of the units you can hire and those that are currently recruited to your troops are listed at the top of the screen. In that very corner, you can see how much gold you have left and manage your resources. Noting extra and nothing lacking! The controls are simple like ABC.
